The Volker family are so good to me. They make me feel so comfortable. It almost feel like home.
I´m sure I´m going to enjoy every moment of the rest of my stay here in Germany.

I just want to thank everybody at the FSA for creating this opportunity for us to visit Germany. The whole journey has been very exciting thus far. The Germans are very different from us South Africans, but it is very interesting to experience these differences! I enjoy staying with my family and they are doing a lot of effort to make my stay pleasant. One participant wrote: Don#t count the days, let every day count. Thank you for that! 😳 I cant believe i´m finally here! germany is so beautiful! so many trees and and everywhere you look its GREEN! my family is excellent and they go out of their ways to make me feel welcome. the local cuisine, i must admit, is a taste that you acquire. i´m having a ball of a time and couldn´t have asked for better. thank you a million times over!
ps. german keyboards take a while to get the hang of...😁 😁 😁 😀 😁

Anene, you have to be at the airport in Frankfurt at the latest 12:00. As Petra and myself know how unreliable the German Railways is, she suggested that you guys and girls should be there earlier. I wrote the same in my letter to you: It is better to sit and wait for an hour than to travel to Switzerland as a result of being late.
So, no reason to to strike any panic buttons. You have the latest time and the suggested time. It is now up to you how much you want to gamble.

The train-ride was quite an adventure I would never forget. Our first train was delayed and we nearly missed the next one!!! It was quite funny when we had to run all the way to the other platform when we saw that the next train is already at the station. Luckily we made it on time! Thank you once again for this opportunity. You really have a beautiful country with wouderful people!
