Hi,
It has been everything I wished for and more. They put in so much effort to make it a good experience and I am grateful for everything they have done to make my stay so special.
I am definitely going to be missing every moment and wish I could stay longer. It has been an unbelievable experience so far! My heart aches knowing that there are only a few days left but I also look forward to telling my family about how wonderful Germany is and how much I loved every moment.

Freunde fürs Leben
Hallo liebe Austauschschüler,
wir haben 2011 auch einen Südafrikaner bei uns Zuhause aufgenommen. Wir haben uns auf anhieb gut verstanden und sind immernoch befreundet. Wir haben eine sehr spezielle Freundschaft zueinander entwickelt. Mein Freund Pearu aus Südafrika war mittlerweile schon 6-7 mal bei uns und mittlerweile lebt er sogar bei mir in Deutschland. Wir wohnen in der Nähe von Hamburg zusammen in einer WG und er arbeitet für ein paar Jahre in Deutschland. Wir sind seit dem Austausch so gute Freunde geworden, wie ich es mir nie hätte vorstellen können. Eine super Erfahrung und ich kann dies jedem einfach nur empfehlen. Mittlerweile also 7 Jahre befreundet. Ich wollte das dem FSA Team einfach einmal mitteilen. Schöne Grüße der Tom

The FSA exchange program has been a wonderful experience thus far. My host family is absolutely wonderful. I’m learning new things about the German culture and way of living everyday. It is definitely something that I would recommend to someone who wants to get a better and more diverse world view.😀

Germany is beautiful. I have a lovely host family and I couldn´t be more happy. I know I will enjoy my time here in Neuss next to the beautiful Rhein. I have been in contact with my host family and they seem extremely welcoming and compassionate. I am aware of the Soccer World Cup and the many other sporting events happening around the same time and it would humbling and fantastic to watch the event.
I wholeheartedly appreciate all your hard work and the preparation that has gone into my exchange programme. 10 days to go!

Today, 15 years after being to SA I´m still in contact with my family and friends abroad
it really was one of the most stunning impressions in my live and I enjoyed every single day and think of it a lot.
now I´m looking forward to meeting a friend´s daughter this month who is coming to Germany with her school...
