I´ve met a wonderful Family in Schwarzenbek. They are treating me like their old Family member. Everyone in this family is very excited. They have welcomed me with warm Hands. My Family met me at the Train-Station and they were very happy, when I arrived at the Train Station they greeted me very nicely. Everything is good and I am enjoying every Moment with this Family. Ich liebe meine Familie.

my host family
My host family is very nice and I
enjoy them a lot. When I arrived at the train
station they greeted me with a board with my name on it. At first it was awkward but then we warmed up to each other.
7 hours to go, yay!
In 7 hours time the plane will be in the air as I make my way to Germany to spend 4 weeks with my host family Karsten, Annette, Klara and Franka. I can´t wait to meet them in person=:)

I´m so excited to travel to Germany. Can´t put into words how I feel about traveling to Germany. 😁 Counting down the days , the hours , the minutes and the seconds. Can´t wait to finally meet my German Family 😀. This would be a once in a lifetime experience😎

Excitement overload
Words cannot describe how excited I am. It is now only 8 days till I depart from South Africa, to meet my wonderful host family! I am blessed with an amazing German family, we have contact with each other daily, to them it feels like I am part of the family already. I am very keen on learning about the German culture and new things abroad.
Furthermore, the excitement rises even more as my family and I will be hosting a German girl just one week after I arrive back in South Africa. Once again, we are also in daily contact with each other and we are all very excited for her stay here. She is already considering coming next year for a longer period, although she has not even been here yet. 😁

WOW, I am super excited for my daughter Jenni-Lee Angelique Hoorzuk. I know that she will embrace all the Germany has to offer. Thanks to FSA for giving her the opportunity of a lifetime. Proost!
10 DAYS
It´s only 10 more days til we finically have a great life changing experience!!! :D I´m so thrilled that there are no words to explain how excited I am!! My host family seems like wonderful people and i can´t wait to finally meet them and make so many wonderful, new memories that we´ll cherish forever!! Xx

Liebe Südafrikafreunde,
Es ist noch nicht lange her, dass Méhan uns besucht hat. Zwischenzeitlich ist eine enge Freundschaft mit unserer Tochter entstanden. Silvester traf man sich in Österreich zum Skilaufen und nun wird unsere Tochter im Sommer für 6 Wochen diese reizende Familie in ihrer Heimat besuchen. Wir hoffen, dass unser Sohn nun im nächsten Jahr ebenfalls solche Erfahrungen machen kann.

Ich wollte mich noch recht herzlich für das tolle Wochenende in Bielefeld bedanken. Es hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht und es war sehr hilfreich. Es war ein sehr gelungenes Wochenende und ich bin jetzt noch gespannter darauf endlich nach Südafrika zu fliegen.😀

Vor 7,5 Jahren bin ich mit FSA nach Südafrika gegangen und habe in einer Gastfamilie in Oudtshoorn gelebt.
In einer Woche habe ich endlich die Chance, die Familie nach so langer Zeit wieder zu sehen und ich freue mich tierisch darauf! Die Familie war damals so lieb zu mir und hat perfekt zu mir gepasst.
