Thank you for this opportunity and for giving me the chance to learn German cultures and the language. After many long hours of travel and a few hours of sleep, I still was excited to meet my family, for the first time. They were waiting for me at the station. I only had enough energy to say hello and tell them how my flight was. A week and a few days have past and I feel at home... I am enjoying myself and love it here. I am leaning so much and to make things better, the family and the whole neighborhood are nice and they are teaching and helping me day by day. Once again Thank-you and may all of the exchange students master German and have 3 months of fun and excitement.

It´s my still my first few days here but I have experienced so many new and exiting things that I´m more exited than ever!!I went hiking with my guest sisters class in the forest for 2 days and I have already took more than 850 photo´s! Everything is so beautiful!! Thank you FSA for reuniting me with my German twin sister <3

Ich bin Vater von zwei Söhnen im Austausch, Lehrer einiger Austauschschüler und mehrfacher Gastgeber von südafrikanischen Jugendlichen. Mein Fazit nach einige Jahren des Kontakts. Beide Söhne haben nachhaltig von dem Austauschprogramm profitiert, besonders in ihren universitären, aber auch menschlichen Skills, wie man heute so schön sagt.

der Aufenthalt in Südafrika ist vorbei und verdaut...Linus war begeistert und fand den Aufenthalt ganz toll. Wir waren sehr glücklich mit der Gastfamilie, mit der Linus auch super klar gekommen ist. Der Aufenthalt unter der Woche im Internat war genau das richtige für ihn, da haben Sie den richtigen Riecher gehabt...und in der Schule mache ich auch schon fleißig Werbung!

ich wollte mich ganz herzlich bedanken für die wunderbaren 6 Wochen in Südafrika. Ich habe tolle Erfahrungen gemacht und werde meine Gastfamilie niemals vergessen. Sie haben mit mir so viel unternommen das ich sehr viel von dem Land gesehen habe 😁 . Wir haben vor in den Winterferien meine Gastfamilie in Nelspruit zu besuchen, damit meine Eltern sie auch kennenlernen. Vielen Dank das sie das ermöglicht haben.

Vielen Dank für alles! Das waren die besten drei Monate meines Lebens auch wenn sie zu schnell vergingen und die Zeit regelrecht verflog 😀
In den drei Monaten habe ich sehr viel mit meiner Gastfamilie erlebt und als ich am Flughafen wieder in den Flieger stieg fühlte es sich an als würde ich meine zweite Familie verlassen, aber es war ja nicht für immer denn ich gehe auf jeden Fall wieder nach Südafrika. Meine Gastfamilie war die Beste, die man sich nur wünschen konnte. Jeder der sagt, dass Südafrika süchtig macht hat recht. Das erste was wieder in Deutschland gesagt wurde war, dass wir da nächstes Jahr wieder hinmüssen.
Danke, Thank you, Dankie 😀 an alle die mir diesen atemberaubenden Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben und vor allem an das FSA-Team, das mir eine so super Gastfamilie zugeordnet hat!
