Our son Martin is in Germany at this moment, having the time of his life! He is with a great host family in Bavaria who spoils him rotten! He goes to school almost every day, but there is more than enough time for him to see the vicinity as well. On this side four weeks seems a long time, but I am sure our son doen´t think so. Thank you so much for this program! We will promote it among our friends as their children reach the right age.

This is amazing hey. We are really lucky to have the oppertunity to be here. I have the most amazing host family! Oh my gosh they do a lot for me. I just need to name what I want to do and then we are off doing it. They are so friendly. We get along well. He can´t wait to come to our home country. Yesterday I went to visit some of my real family who still live in germany. I was scared at first because i didn´t know what to expect, but I really started enjoying it. They had so much cake. Hahaha. My host family say they still have so much planned for me and we have done so much already, so I seriously don´t know what to expect. I hope you all are enjoying it in my old home country. But got to go eat now. Bye!!!
first day at school
today was the first day i went to school becoz i was at a summer camp, for 2weeks with my host sis.i mmust say that i really enjoyed it and cant wait for tomorrow! we leave home at 06:30 am to catch the bus and train. we arrive at school at 07:30 and start at 8am. i made so many new friends, they all were so nice to me, its going to be really sad when i leave. i only go to school for 3 days and then its summer vacation. i must say that im having a blast and dont want to go home! my host family actually go out of there way to make me feel at home. perta, thank you so much for everything!!! this has been the best experience of my life😉

helo, auw it is a very nice place. we have been to paris yesterday it was amzing i havent seen such a beautful place ever. may hostfamily are very great and good to me they tak eme on a lot of trips wich is very nice for me. i am going to treit tomorow so it wil de awsome. and the school was good to although we only went to school for 3 days it was nice.

days are going by so fast
hey everyone, cant believe that we ars already in our second week! at times it has been a bit tough, but gettind better. im having a excellent time here in germany! my host family and sister are so understanding! they are amazing. days are going by so quick and summer holidays are almost here! went to hamburg last week for some shopping and then to a summercamp. the camp was really nice, i did so many things that i thought i would never do such as riding ontop a cow. to be really honest im a bit homesick, but getting better!!!!!!!! its been such an amazing experience, THANK YOU😀

Thank you fsa for making this exchange to Germany possible, a big thanks to everyone who was involved! My host family are awesome they take very good care of me. Its a bit frustrating when people are talking and I don´t know what they are saying but my family do translate for me and they can speak english so all is good, but I do hope to pick up some German. I hope all the other South Africans were as lucky as me to get such a great family. To all involved hope you having a great time make the most of it, and the friends I made on the way hope to see you soon!
