I just want to say thank you for the letter this morning and that I am as happy as can get, although I´ll certainly miss my family a LOT during Christmas!! It´s actually sad that school is over! I´ve met so many interesting people and learned so many new things (I still do) - school in South Africa will just never be the same... Thank you a thousand times for giving me this amazing oppurtunity and a host family that really cares!

Im good thank you my family is the best and so friendly im enjoying myself so much here in Germany I dont even want to go home.
In the beginning it was really hard for me here as I didnt know anyone and it was really far from home but now Im enjoying my stay here at the Flake that I think I will be visiting soon again!
I made alot of friends and they are all so nice to me im not even missing my friends back in South-Africa.
The school here is very different from ours,were they can wear whatever they want to we have to wear a school uniform but I think its better to wear a uniform for then no one can judge you by what you are wearing.
All that I find very difficult is the language but sometimes I can understand what they are saying because some of the German words is English and Afrikaans mixed together so then I can understand but not very often.
Im loooking forward to x-mas as it will be in a different country and family,but infortunatly theres no snow in Bad-Meinberg:-(
But all in all Im happy here and enjoying myself very much.
