Mit James hatten wir einen tollen Jungen bekommen.Er war genau der Richtige für unsere Familie 👪.Besser hätten wir es nicht treffen können. Wir hoffen es geht ihn genau so. Wir haben viel 😂 gelacht. Das Beste war das Skifahren und die zwei Tage Schnee in Naumburg.Wir sind sehr traurig 😔, wenn James Morgen nach Hause fliegt✈ und hoffen das wir uns wiedersehen.

Greetings.Its so sad that there are only two days left before I have to go back to Mzansi😨 because the people here in Siegen had been so nice to me.I got a chance to visit the Christmas markert and it was very thrilling😀,tried quite a few German cuisines and they were not really bad😉,got a chance to go to Cologne to Aqualand and it was an adrenalin expirience😁 ...we did alot of things and the ultimate one was when we went to Paris with a school trip😀 😀 😀 .being here taught me alot of things and I hope everyone who has met me learnt one or two things from me or about South Africa😀 and lastly I would like to thank the FSA and my school for giving me this opportunity and yes I´d like to say thanks to my wonderful host family for everything that they have done for me and I hope to stay in touch with them all the time😀.Thanks to my family too for being with me along this long journey...I´m so gonna miss Germany😫 😀 😀 😀 😀

Ich erzähle euch mal die Geschichte von mir und jané:
2013 kam sie in Hamburg an,aus Südafrika, den ganzen weiten Weg um eine völlig fremde Familie kennenzulernen. Völlig fremd? Davon hat man nichts gemerkt,wir haben uns sofort verstanden, es War sozusagen ´liebe auf den ersten blick´
Wir haben alles zusammen gemacht, wir sind zur schule gegangen und alle haben sie geliebt,sie hat selbst schule erträglich gemacht. Wir sind überall hingefahren,Leute hielten uns für Geschwister, so ähnlich waren wir. Wir haben Weihnachten gefeiert,zusammen gelacht und zusammen geheult,die wochen vergingen und es wurde Zeit den Koffer zu packen und zum Bahnhof zu fahren wo die anderen schon warteten..
Der Abschied war nicht leicht,alle haben geweint,oma und opa,mein Bruder und meine mama?die hat einen Wasserfall geheult,ich nicht,mir ging es nicht gut aber nicht schlecht,ich wusste das ist kein Abschied für immer. Sie stieg ein & weg War sie..
Ein jahr Kontakt über whatsapp,Skype und Facebook. Neben schule arbeiten gewesen,kaum Freizeit und das Geld gespart und für was? Ja,ein jahr später stieg ich ins Flugzeug und flog zu ihr,jetzt bin ich da,phalabowra -Südafrika. 5 wochen bin ich hier,das ist meine letzte Woche und ich weiß was ich mache wenn ich wieder Zuhause bin.. arbeiten und sparen. Es ist ein unglaubliches Gefühl hier zu sein,es ist alles aufregend,ich genieße jede Sekunde hier und ich danke meiner zweiten Familie das ich hier sein darf.
DANKE FSA FÜR MEINE ZWEITE FAMILIE IN SÜDAFRIKA! Danke das ihr mir jané gegeben habt! Super arbeit!:) sie passt zu mir wie die Faust aufs auge!
The best time of my life
Gluck Auf Petra, I would like to start off by thanking the FSA Youth Exchange Team for making it possible for me and the others to visit Germany. I feel like I have known my host family and friends for years, they are very kind and have made me feel at home😀 .Everyday I learn something new and go places, I´m speechless, just got from a concert of VOICEPOINT-CHOIR "WOW",I am burning with excitement.

😀 wow its realy been a fantastick coupel of days 😀 i love it hear and my host family is the best they make me feel right at home.Im also crassy about the school and ethery one in it i have made some great new friends and i whish i coud pack them and the new part of my famalyin whit me when i go back 😉 Germany is realy a great place and it has helped me grow in my carackter 😉

While we haven´t had the best weather, everything els has been great so far! I really like the Weihnachtsmarkt. All the sweet stuff to eat and drink and the cozy vibe is just amazing.

I love Germany. The country and it´s people is wonderful. My host family has welcomed me with opened arms and I feel at home. They and all the other people I have met here already feel like family to me. I love it so much here and don´t want to go home.
My experience so far
Having taken german in school for 4 years up to this point, I always knew it would bsenseless not to go to Germany. Now that I am here however, I feel so excited to finally use my German speaking ability practically, and improve it day by day. Everyone here is so friendly and I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay thus far. Frohe Weihenachten!

FSA i would like to let you know i´m good. i´m learning German very easy. the family i´m staying is giving me the best hospitality. i´ll put this in way possible for you to understand. I´M HOME. at school the children are fine. i´m practical German now. the activities are so much better than what i do.

Its been a week since I first came to Germany and I feel like part of the family allready! I am so at home here and I think the experience is more unusual for my host family than for me and I often get told how my eating habits are diffrent than what Germans would do like eating cream and nutella on bread... But I love it here and cant wait for Christmas! Thank you FSA!

This has been by far the most amazing expirience. Starting by the flight expirience. I cant take anything back. My host parents are the most humble and caring people. They warmly opened their lovely home for me and it has been amazing ever since. The christmas markets are beautiful! The towns and cities are also interesting and beautiful ! Although most things are done in German there is still a lot to learn.
