I´m sorry that I haven´t written until now, but the first week went by so fast that I haven´t even thaught about being a participant in the youthexchange. It feels like I´m apart of my hostfamily already so in my mind I´m not one of a group anymonre !!
Germany is so beautiful and we live in a small town so there are trees and water everywhere ! My hostfamily is really the best because they teach me everything about the country and its history wich is verey interesting and funny to me because there are alot of hand signals and weird words used to communicate. They also have my whole stay planned out already so we´re busy the whole time and I´m scared that time will run out too quickly !!
Thankyou to all of the people that made and still make this oppurtunity possible... I can´t wait to return the favour to my hostsister Alina 😀

Wow so far the best experiance I have ever had 😁 I LOVE IT!!!!My host family is incredible and so is the school I attend(nice being out of a all boys school for a while)talking about that the girls omg amazing😉 or atleast in this town,love the change exept the long days hard trying to get used to that,but im sure it will come in due time.hope all you SOUTH AFRICANS are doing as well as I am i will see you all in 3 weeks in Frankfurt😉

At first everything here seemed very strange because it is so different, but I am with a great host family and ive adjusted very quickly to the German way of living! We have so much fun together- riding horses (yip sometimes in the rain), cycling, swimming in the river at the bottom of their garden and taking the dogs for walks! I have hardly had any time to even think about missing home! I have even ridden a unicycle and been to a horse show for the fist time. I love the people I meet, the sunshine and the crazy things we get up too!
