I'm good thanks yourself? It has been a wonderful experience ever since i arrived at my home here, Daniella and Dieter have been a wonderful family to me making sure i enjoy my stay here. I've been to Hamburg,the Christmas markets,punch world and we visited historical sights and i have met the grandparents of Jasmin also. I have had an opportunity to experience church in Germany and i loved it so much.The school we work at with Jasmin is ok but i love the children more than anything. The difficulties i have faced so far are the language barriers,criticism and ignorance but overall it has been an amazing experience so far. I cannot wait for the Holidays to begin so my family and i can be together more often and hopefully Jasmin will have time to be with me then.

My time in Germany is great. It has only been a few days but I can already tell that I will cry when saying goodbye. I already feel a good connection between myself and my host family 👨👩👧👧this is the best program to learn more about yourself and how to adapt in new and unfamiliar situations. Thanks to my parent for giving me this opportunity to experience different things.

So we finally arrived in Germany. What a beautiful place! I love my host family, they are all so nice to me and I learn a lot from them. I've been feeling a bit homesick these first few days, but it seems to be getting better. I'm still very thankful for this opportunity and everything it has to offer!

I've been to South Africa for 6 weeks during my summer holidays and all I can say is that I loved it and that I miss it so much! My host family , friends and teachers have been so great and I learnt so much about myself that I sort of forgot to miss my friends and family in Germany...
I definitely found a new home and a second family!
All I can say is that I left South Africa but South Africa will never leave me :)

I am absolutely loving my stay in Germany. I have been here over a month, and there is still so much opportunities and things to learn everyday! I love the German culture and travelling by train and bus daily!

I really am ecstatic about Germany as well as the family I'm located to. I have a feeling this is to be the most life changing experience ever.
Surreal
It is little over a day till we fly but it's a very surreal feeling. I'm still trying to fully grasp the idea of going to Germany and physically living there.
I am very thankful for the FSA and their program, their staff and their open communication, which has made all of the preparations a lot easier and less stressful.
I've been looking forward to this since February, and been counting off 'till each milestone. I can't wait to meet my family in Germany and actually practice my German in person.
The scenery and climte will be a huge relief, but there isn't really any place like home.
